Hello lovely souls,

I’m Jel, your fellow soul searcher.

I believe that acknowledging our imperfections help us fully embrace our true selves.

Admitting that I’m a procrastinator wasn’t easy.

It was one of those in denial phases where I kept insisting to be working on it.

Although it seems ironic to be a perfectionist, planner and procrastinator, here’s some science to explain. (Take the PERFECTIONIST TEST to see how much of a perfectionist, you are.)

Apparently, I’ve become a HIGH ACHIEVER due to my understanding of the inevitable.

Even though I procrastinate to perfect my plans, I ALWAYS see them through.

Lucky for me, there’s this thing called, balance

Looking back to my childhood, I was raised to learn the importance of protecting my image & reputation. Which, I never truly understood growing up. I believed that people would have their own opinion regardless of how we portray ourselves.

With this ideal instilled in me, I lived my life always wanting to please and never make a mistake in front of people. I know (now) that in order to learn, we must fail, get up and try again. This is where my perfectionism came from, believing that everybody knew what they were doing.

I know, I was young and naïve.

I procrastinate on things I’ve planned to perfectly accomplish.

Sure, that doesn’t sound like a viable plan to live by day-to-day…

And that’s when I realized that I should stay accountable and learn that spec I was made to do.

I’m an avid planner, a lover of travel and events.

I’m a creator, photography and graphic design are my strengths.

I’m a writer passionate about life, love and relationships.

I AM A MINDFUL PERFECTIONIST.

A space for the soul to be.

Where the world is as it is.

No judgment.

No pretense.

Just raw.
